What if the biggest thing keeping you from God isn’t disbelief—but a calendar full of excuses?
Summary
What if following Jesus means surrendering the very things you’re most determined to keep?
Summary
In this devotional on Luke 14:25–35, Pastor Brad Noble challenges listeners to move beyond wearing a Christian label and embrace the true cost of discipleship. Following Jesus means putting Him above every relationship, carrying your cross, and surrendering the desires and possessions that compete for your heart. Through Jesus’ examples of a builder and a king preparing for battle, Noble calls believers to count the cost and remain faithful when obedience becomes uncomfortable. His central challenge: build your hope on Jesus—not recognition, comfort, or political leaders.
