Samuel heard God’s voice—but thought someone else was calling. Could you be missing His call in the middle of your everyday life?
Summary
In this devotional on 1 Samuel 3, Pastor Brian Noble explores how Samuel learned to recognize God’s voice and respond, “Speak, Lord, for your servant is listening.” He encourages us to develop that same readiness through studying Scripture, testing what we hear against God’s Word, and making ourselves available to serve. Samuel’s difficult message to Eli reminds us that listening to God also requires courage to speak truth and humility to receive correction. The challenge is practical: respond to God’s call by sharing your faith, praying for someone, or meeting a need today.
