Even when your reality shouts “impossible,” true faith clings to God’s promise and praises Him before the answer comes.
Pastor Brian Noble breaks down Romans 4 and Hebrews 11, describing Abraham’s “hope against hope”—his refusal to let circumstances shape his faith. Abraham considered his body and Sarah’s womb “as good as dead” but chose to believe God’s word over visible evidence, resulting in strength, joy, and the crediting of righteousness. The lesson invites believers to realistically acknowledge difficulty without weakening in faith, to pray for miracles, and to give praise before answers arrive. Application: In life and public witness, cling to God’s promise, expect resurrection of dead hopes, resist the urge to “go back to Egypt,” and glorify God as the ultimate Redeemer whose power makes all things new.
