A Devotion for your drive into work:
If the law only reveals sin, not salvation, what will free you from guilt and bring real transformation—rules or a Redeemer?
Drawing deeply from Romans 4:13 and passages in Matthew, Galatians, and Corinthians, Pastor Brian Noble shows that the promise to Abraham is fulfilled “not through the law, but through the righteousness of faith.” The law acts as a mirror, reflecting each person’s true spiritual condition and pointing to the impossibility of self-justification. Its purpose is not salvation, but conviction that leads to Christ. The call is practical: share the gospel by first identifying human need—the problem of sin—then point to Jesus, who rescues, justifies, and transforms by grace. Application: in every sphere, humbly confess your sin, rely on Christ, lead others to the Savior, and pray for spiritual revival in your communityn.
