When life feels like a wilderness and what God has given you does not look like enough, will you trust His provision—or grumble for the comforts of the past?
Summary
In Exodus 16, God provides manna and quail for Israel after He delivers them from slavery, showing that He faithfully supplies what His people need in the wilderness. Yet the people repeatedly complain, disobey God’s instructions, and long for the familiar—even though it was bondage—rather than trusting the God who rescued them. This devotional reminds us that our present struggles are not our final destination, and that God calls us to receive His provision with obedience, gratitude, and rest. Above all, God’s greatest provision is Jesus Christ, whose death and resurrection offer salvation and eternal life.
