A Devotion for your drive into work:

If justice seems far away and truth stumbles in the public square, what hope remains when only God’s intervention can restore righteousness and peace?

Drawing on Romans and Isaiah, Pastor Brian Noble explains that all people are guilty before God: “Their feet are swift to shed blood... there is no justice in their tracks.” This passage shows that injustice grows from hearts estranged from God—deception, violence, and self-focus disrupt “the way of peace.” Yet God remains near to the repentant: His “hand is not so short that it cannot save.” Real justice and revival in public life require honest confession, repentance, and dependence on Jesus for transformation, not confidence in politicians or programs. The devotional closes with prayer for justice, personal and societal repentance, and bold faith to intercede for God’s intervention in the public square and daily life.

We are transforming our hearts so we can shape the public square. If you're interested in starting a public square ministry, check out these free resources - https://fpiw.org/public-square-ministry
