Are decisions, conversations, and public witness grounded in reverence for God—or shaped by social pressures, virtue signaling, or fear of others??
Romans 3:18 warns, “there is no fear of God before their eyes,” highlighting humanity’s lost state. Pastor Brian Noble draws from Matthew 10:28, Proverbs 1:7, Isaiah 41:10, 1 John 4:18, and Psalms, urging believers to reject the fear of man and embrace holy reverence for God’s authority, truth, and salvation. This means hating evil, loving what God loves, and trusting Him with every anxiety, meeting, or public square engagement. God’s presence brings boldness, wisdom, and security—so believers can speak truth in love, resist cultural compromise, and walk confidently in God’s guidance, mercy, and grace. The devotional closes with prayer for repentance of fearing man and courage to honor God above all in the public square and daily life.
