Assyria was unbeatable. Egypt was untouchable. Both were towering ‘great trees’… until pride rotted them from the inside out. In Ezekiel 31, God warns that no nation, no church, and no person is beyond His humbling hand. If God cut down their tree, what does that say about the pride in our own hearts today?

In this episode, Pastor Brian Noble walks through Ezekiel 31, where God uses Assyria as a towering cedar to warn Pharaoh and Egypt about the danger of pride. The passage shows how God Himself raised up this “great tree,” then cut it down when its heart became haughty, shaking the nations when it fell. Pastor Brian applies this warning to modern nations, churches, and individuals, calling listeners to examine their own pride and turn to Christ as the true tree of life whose life and healing never fail.
