We keep saying “love is love,” but what if that’s a lie that sends people to hell, not heaven? The Bible says real love does no wrong to a neighbor, which means it will not bless what God calls sin. In this devotional, we expose the difference between selfish, feel-good “love” and God-glorifying love that actually saves. If you care about your neighbor’s soul, you cannot afford to miss this.
In this episode, Pastor Brian Noble unpacks Romans 13 and shows that true love “does no wrong to a neighbor,” which means it must align with God’s standards of right and wrong. He contrasts worldly, selfish “love” that affirms sin—sexual immorality, adultery, homosexuality, idolatry, greed, and more—with God-glorifying love that pleads with people to repent so they can inherit the kingdom of God. Drawing from 1 Corinthians 6 and Revelation 20, he warns that those who persist in unrighteousness will face the great white throne judgment and the lake of fire. The message calls listeners to be washed, sanctified, and justified through Jesus Christ, and to love their neighbors enough to tell them hard truth about sin, hell, and salvation.
