Are we trading the truth of God for lies, and what impact does that exchange have on our hearts and our society?
Pastor Brian Noble, CEO of the Family Policy Institute of Washington, unpacks Romans 1:20–27 in this daily devotional. He stresses that God’s divine nature has been clearly revealed since creation—no one is without excuse. The scripture warns that humanity’s real problem is not ignorance of God, but the choice to suppress the truth and exchange it for lies. Noble highlights how society often prides itself on worldly “wisdom,” yet ends up embracing ideas and behaviors contrary to God’s design, including redefining gender and sexuality. He encourages listeners to examine their own hearts for any places where they, too, may have swapped God’s truth for cultural lies. Ultimately, he points to Jesus Christ as the unchanging solution and prays for renewed commitment to truth and compassion in the public square.
