Summary
In Luke 9:37–45, a desperate father brings his suffering son to Jesus after the disciples are unable to help. Jesus rebukes the unclean spirit, heals the boy, and leaves the crowd amazed at the greatness of God. Yet in the middle of that miracle, Jesus redirects attention to the central truth of the kingdom: the Son of Man will be delivered into the hands of men. This devotional calls us to bring our fears, limited resources, families, communities, and public concerns to Christ—remembering that lasting transformation does not come through anger or human effort, but through faith in the gospel and surrender to God.
