Romans 13 says obey the governing authorities—but in Washington State, who is that really? Is it the governor, the attorney general, or someone else entirely? In this episode, we open the Washington Constitution and discover that ultimate civil authority is not a politician, but a document under God—and what that means when leaders ignore individual rights, sanctuary laws, and your God‑given liberties.”

In this episode, Pastor walks through Romans 13:1–7 and asks who the true “governing authority” is for Christians living in Washington State. Pastor Brian Noble argues that, in a constitutional republic, ultimate civil authority lies in the Constitution itself, under God, with all political power inherently residing in the people and only delegated to elected officials in limited ways. He shows how Washington’s Constitution, together with the supremacy of the U.S. Constitution, defines and limits the roles of the legislature, governor, and courts, highlighting how sanctuary policies and COVID restrictions violated both constitutional protections and Romans 13. The episode ends with a prayer for leaders like Bob Ferguson and Donald Trump, and a call for believers to defend and advance biblical values while insisting on equal application of the law.
