A Devotion for your drive into work:
When promises clash with circumstance, will you contemplate your limitations or God’s ability—can you stand firm, refuse to waver, and glorify God even before the answer comes?
Pastor Brian Noble teaches that biblical faith means conviction and assurance about God’s word, not a denial of reality. Abraham acknowledged his body and Sarah’s womb “as good as dead,” yet he stayed confident in God’s faithfulness. Faith, defined as assurance of things hoped for and evidence of things unseen, pleases God and activates miracles. The practical lesson calls for believers to build faith by hearing God’s word, pray without doubting, crucify fleshly desires daily, and advance biblical values publicly. Faith in Christ’s resurrection and power enables believers to persevere, pray boldly, and live with hope, assurance, and victory regardless of what is seen.
