Where Are Our Davids?
Have you noticed we’re in a battle of ideas, where woke ideology shouts in the public square while the church hides in its circle? In a culture that can’t decide between two genders or seventy‑two, God is still looking for men and women of courage, not cowards. This message calls out uncircumcised ideas, exposes fearful, apathetic religion, and asks a piercing question: will you live like Saul…or rise up like David? If you’re tired of compromise and confusion, this is your wake‑up call.

This sermon challenges believers to recognize we are in a “battle of ideas” over worldview, courage, and the future of our culture. Drawing from 1 Samuel 17, the speaker contrasts Goliath’s “woke” arrogance and Saul’s fearful apathy with David’s courageous, God‑centered faith. He argues that much of today’s political correctness and wokeness first took root in a timid, people‑pleasing church and calls Christians to repent, leave their “church circle,” and step boldly into the public square. Throughout, he insists that biblical conviction, not silence or retreat, is the path to true transformation in communities like Pullman, Lewiston, and across Washington State.
